Is there anything I need to do after I get Botox?

For the first 24 hours, it is recommedned that you refrain from working out as this may alter the results of your Botox. It is also suggested that you refrain from pressing on the areas that were treated as this could move the Botox into areas that are not desired. You should also avoid laying down flat for at least 4 hours after treatment so that the Botox doesn't gravitate to unwanted areas.

When will I see the results of my Botox and how long is it going to last?

Your botox is going to take anywhere from 10-14 days to fully take effect and is going to last for 3 months.

What if I notice asymmetry in my face?

Accepted Answer

As mentioned previsouly, Botox takes 10-14 days to take full effect. Therefore, it is completely normal to see asymmetry or movement in your facial muscles as they all react to the Botox at different rates or speed.

Is there anything I need to do after my lip filler appointment?

Accepted Answer

It is recommened that you refrain from working out for 24 hours after your appointment. You should apply ice to your lips for the first 24 hours. After 24 hours if you develop bruising, you should then switch to heat. This will help the blood to be reabsorbed more quickly into the vessel. Do not apply firm pressure to the lips for a least 3 days.

How long does swelling or bruising last after getting fillers?

Accepted Answer

It is completely normal to experience swelling and/or bruising after getting lip fillers. This can last anywhere from 3-10 days. If after 2 weeks you are noticing asymmetry in the lips, this is likely no longer from swelling. At this time you can call for a follow up appointment.
